Apr 27, 2013 · Hi this is my first post. We have a case 1537 skid steer and have had it for over 25 years and never adjusted the steering clutches. We do not use it much but have noticed that it is getting harder to steer. You have to push and pull pretty hard but it still steers ok. Maybe I'am just getting weaker in my old age.

Uniloader skid steer drive chain adjustment? 150M or 1530
Can anyone tell me how to adjust the wheel drive chain on a Case model 150M Uniloader skid steer? I can't find much on the 150M but from the parts manuals it seems to be nearly identical to the 1530 or 1537 Uniloaders. Near as I can tell they made the 150M in '69 or so before switching to the 1500 series model numbers. The chain (#60) broke

To adjust the clutch, loosen the clutch cable adjuster as much as you can. Remove the derby cover from the primary cover. Remove the spring and the locknut. Turn the adjuster screw counterclockwise as far as it will go. Turn it back in 1/4 turn and replace the lock nut and the spring. Replace derby cover.
